The new CGS has released a letter to all Officers, Soldiers and Veterans of the British Army to reiterate the messages given regarding the Independent Inquiry relating to Afghanistan.

He discusses his full cooperation and support for the Inquiry and whilst being a difficult and emotive issue, it is about trust, transparency and accountability. 

He is committed to ensuring support for our people throughout this process and highlights the legal and welfare support that is available, not just for members of the Army but for all members of the Armed Forces, veterans, and civilians working for Defence.
