After the final weekend of inter services rugby at the home of Gloucester Rugby, Kingsholm Stadium players from the AGC played an important part across all 3 teams.

Maj Sam Richardson AGC (SPS) once again scoring for the Army Masters as they went on to defeat the RAF Vultures 24-0 on Friday evening and secure the runner up spot in the Masters Competition.

On Saturday morning the Army Women took the stage, needing a win against the RAF after a strong showing against the Royal Navy women a week before at Twickenham. Led by SSgt Jade Mullen AGC (SPS) and SSgt Sarah Batley AGC (RMP) the team played well through the first half with SSgt Batley, as vice-captain, getting on the score sheet. Still a few points down and looking to their Captain to lead from the front, she did just that and SSgt Mullen added to the Army tally with a great individual try.  LCpl Isabel Bibby AGC (RMP) came on to help finish things off with the Army women winning 36-19 and securing yet another Inter Service title.

The Army Senior Men soon followed, and with all to play for after a close game against the Navy the previous week the scores at half time were close with only 5 points separating the two teams.  However a mixture of grit, determination and individual brilliance saw the Army come up tops in the second half winning the game 42-21.  Lt Frank Kelly AGC (SPS) starting at inside centre once again showed both his attacking dominance and defensive prowess that saw him awarded player of the match and help the side lift the Inter Service trophy.
