Central Reserve Headquarters

To deliver trained National AGC Reserves at readiness in order to sustain and develop the functional output of AGC (and other supported) services.

If you are looking for a new challenge, a second career, excitement, camaraderie and adventure, then look at Central Reserve Headquarters, Adjutant General’s Corps (CRHQ AGC).

CRHQ AGC is located in Worthy Down near Winchester, Hampshire. Twinned with our regular units, reservists are soldiers first and must commit to a minimum of 19 days a year. In return, CRHQ AGC reservists benefit from top-class specialist training with transferable skills, gaining civilian and military qualifications in a wide variety of AGC trades.

As a member of the Army Reserve, you may be asked to go on operations to serve alongside regular soldiers and there are also opportunities for full-time service. Reservist soldiers and officers are paid a daily rate based on rank and service. You can also earn a ‘bounty’ which is a tax-free sum and enjoy other benefits.
