Clay Pigeon Shooting

The regular Open/Novice events have meant that this year, a greater number of personnel from all branches of the Corps, have been able to try their hand at Clay Target Shooting in a safe environment. This led to an increase of those wishing to represent the AGC competitively as well as some personnel organising shooting events for departmental development.

Although growth, training and development remains a focus into the coming season, the team will be competing in the Army Target Shooting Club (Clay Target) League, as well as several major civilian championships across the UK. To introduce the sport to as many Corps personnel as possible, the coming year will see even more novice events together with the first AGC Clay Target Championships. All members of the Corps are invited to compete
